Air is leaking from connections on your gun

First you've got to find the leak.  Most of the time you can hear or feel where it's coming from but if you can't.  Take some really soapy water at with a brush or something apply it were you think it's coming from and look for bubbles.  If this doesn't work just put that part of your gun under water and look for bubbles.  I'd try the soapy water thing first because getting water in your gun can cause some annoying performance problems.  Once you find the leak use some teflon tape to fix it. You can stick the tape anywhere but usually on the treads is the best place.  Teflon tape is really cheap and commonly sold.

Air is leaking from the tank area

Usually replacing the o-ring on your tank will fix everything but not all the time.  A lot of things can go wrong with you tank valve.  I suggest just sending it in to the manufacturer of the tank and letting them fix it.  I did this and there weren't any problems.  They just took it put a new valve on it and sent it back no questions asked.

The pressure is low and you have hoses on your gun

What happens sometimes is there is a build up of lubricant or something in your hoses and you need to clean that out in order for your gun to cycle properly.  To fix this put sesame seed oil in the hole that your CO2 or air goes into then screw your tank on and shot it a couple of times.  This will blow the oil through the whole gun and hopefully clear whatever the problem is.

Air is leaking from inside the gun

Chances are some of your o-rings and cup seal in side are getting old.  You can buy parts kits with all of these things in it.

Your paintballs either, only shoot a few feet or don't make it out of your barrel

To start with, your tank may almost be empty.  If it's not check your paintballs.  You may have balls that are old and have swelled or expanded.  Maybe you just bought a large type of ball.  If none of these are the case try dry shooting with out paintballs a couple of times and see if that helps.

You are shooting amazingly not straight

Most of the time your barrel is to blame.  Are you using a crap barrel, is there paint or something wet inside your barrel.  Maybe you have old or dented paintballs.

You need to clean the paint out of the holes in your barrel

Try pluging one end of your barrel and run water through the other so it comes out of the holes.  For a quick fix you can just use a water bottle to sray the holes clean. I do this when I'm in a hurry to get back onto the field.
